Soccer player Megan Rapinoe, who was recently awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President Joe Biden, cheekily flipped off the cameras while strutting down the red carpet at the 2022 ESPYS in Los Angeles.

As she rocked an open semi-sheer button-down under a white jewel-encrusted jacket and black satin pants, the 37-year-old professional athlete beamed with pride as one of the evenings’ nominees in the category for best play.

The Olympian, who earned a nod for scoring an incredible goal directly from a corner kick, accessorized her chic ensemble with a pair of diamond hoop earrings, multiple rings and a pair of black Gucci loafers.

At the event, Rapinoe flashed a hint of her side boob while going braless as she posed for photos with one hand in her pocket after playfully flipping the bird.

While the rest of her eight known tattoos were not visible, her ink of her birth year ‘1985’ under her chest, was on full display.

Her latest outing comes after Rapinoe was awarded America’s highest civilian honor for speaking the ‘essential American truth that everyone is entitled to be treated with dignity and respect,’ according to Biden, 79.

During the award ceremony at the White House, the current president of the United States, Biden added: ‘She helped lead the change for perhaps the most important victory for anyone on our soccer team or any soccer team: equal pay for women.’

Rapinoe, a two-time World Cup champion, has spoken publicly on gender pay equality, racial injustice and LGBTQ issues. She even publicly sparred with the Trump administration in the past.

When the US team was in the quarter finals in 2019, Rapinoe said she was ‘not going to the f*****g White House’ if her team won.

Meanwhile, Trump called her the ‘woman with purple hair’ who lead a team of ‘leftist maniacs.’

In June, she advocated for transgender women in women’s sport, labeling the arguments against them as ‘cruel and disgusting.’

The veteran soccer star, who co-captured the United States Women’s National Team in 2019 as they won a second successive World Cup, was dismissive of the notion that trans women are dominating women’s sports and thus need regulating.

Instead, she argued that excluding them from competing at lower levels is cruel, as people value their ‘kid’s high school volleyball team’ ahead of the lives and wellbeing of transgender people.
